Zarafa Camp
The Zarafa Camp is tucked away in 320,000 acres of pure wilderness within the private Selinda Reserve, offering incredible views of the Zibadianja Lagoon in Botswana. Recycled hardwood, solar panels, biogas, and other conscientious efforts render Zarafa unsurpassed as an eco-friendly camp. The decor evokes colonial aesthetics, conjuring a palpably romantic Botswana safari experience.
Wildlife at Zarafa Camp
Leopards, lions, cheetahs, hyenas, crocodiles, and painted dogs (wild dogs) make Zarafa Camp appetizing for predator enthusiasts. Occasionally, one might spot the self-effacing roan or sable scampering about. Hippos, elephants, zebras, and giraffes also inhabit the vicinity of the Zarafa Camp in Botswana.
Guest Suites
Four guest suites, each sprawling over 1000 square feet, dot the Zarafa Camp. Each suite is raised on reclaimed railway sleeper decking and comes with a private plunge pool, wrap-around deck, and a private outdoor shower.
The Zarafa Experience
Owing to the nearby African skimmer colony, Zarafa Camp is a birder’s paradise. Other activities include open vehicle safaris (morning, evening, full day), power boating, guided walks, and boat cruises.
