ELEWANA LOISABA STARBEDS
Loisaba is a 57,000 acre conservancy within Laikipia County that is owned by Loisaba Community Trust. Poised on a rocky kopje, the Loisaba Star Beds command sweeping views over an undulating valley and a permanent waterhole frequented by resident wildlife. A team of traditional Samburu & Laikipia Maasai warriors welcome and host you with their customary warm African hospitality.
Sleep under the stars
Loisaba Star Beds is a truly authentic and intimate African experience. Rustically designed star bed is individually built in harmony with the natural rocky features, incorporating a sitting area, and an open-plan bathroom with a view. As Loisaba Conservancy lies just off the equator we have the most beautiful night skies. Loisaba Tented Camp, Starbeds is completely self-sufficient as a camp and its location overlooks a permanent waterhole which attracts a large number of game with excellent leopard sightings and an elephant migratory zone.
The main area has a cosy dining and lounge area, with a warm log fire as the perfect centerpiece for telling stories and having drinks together after a day out in the bush. The three en-suite starbed rooms and one family starbed room are spaced around the camp and each comes with a traditional Samburu warrior to host your stay and escort you to and from dinner when it’s dark.
