Wilderness Uncut

Terms of Use

Last Updated: October 2026

Welcome to Wilderness Uncut. By accessing or using www.wildernessuncut.com, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or making an enquiry or booking with us.

1. About Wilderness Uncut

Wilderness Uncut is a luxury wildlife and travel company specialising in bespoke journeys, safaris and expeditions across India, Africa and other destinations.

We work with a network of accommodation providers, safari operators, guides, naturalists, transport companies, airlines and other third-party service providers to create and operate our journeys.

These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of this website and, where applicable, form part of the terms governing travel arrangements booked through Wilderness Uncut.

2. Website Information

We make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information published on this website is accurate and up to date. However, travel information, accommodation, rates, availability, schedules, wildlife conditions and other details may change without notice.

Images, descriptions and other content are intended to provide an indication of the experience and may not always represent the exact accommodation, room, vehicle, landscape or wildlife encounter that you will experience.

Wildlife sightings and encounters are naturally unpredictable. Wilderness Uncut does not guarantee sightings of any particular species, animal, behaviour or natural event.

3. Enquiries, Itineraries & Quotations

Information, itineraries and prices displayed on the website are generally provided for guidance and inspiration and do not constitute a confirmed booking unless expressly stated otherwise.

Bespoke itineraries and quotations are prepared based on the requirements provided by the client and are subject to availability at the time of booking.

A quotation may be subject to change until the required services have been confirmed and the applicable deposit or payment has been received.

Unless otherwise stated, quotations do not constitute a reservation or guarantee of availability.

4. Booking & Confirmation

A booking becomes confirmed only once Wilderness Uncut has received the required payment and issued written confirmation.

Specific payment schedules, cancellation terms, amendment conditions and other booking requirements will be communicated to the client at the time of booking and may vary according to the destination, accommodation, supplier and nature of the journey.

By confirming a booking, the client acknowledges and accepts the applicable booking conditions provided by Wilderness Uncut and, where relevant, the terms and conditions of the individual suppliers providing the travel services.

5. Prices

Travel prices can change due to fluctuations in accommodation rates, exchange rates, taxes, park fees, conservation fees, transportation costs, government charges and other supplier costs.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, prices shown on the website should not be considered a guaranteed final price.

The final price applicable to a booking will be the price confirmed in writing by Wilderness Uncut.

6. Changes to Itineraries

Travel in remote wilderness areas can involve circumstances beyond our control. Weather, road conditions, wildlife movements, conservation requirements, government regulations, park restrictions, operational considerations and other unforeseen circumstances may require changes to an itinerary.

Wilderness Uncut and its local partners reserve the right to make reasonable changes to an itinerary where necessary for operational, safety, conservation or other legitimate reasons.

Where a significant change is required, we will endeavour to provide a suitable alternative wherever reasonably possible.

7. Third-Party Services

Wilderness Uncut may arrange services provided by independent third parties, including hotels, lodges, camps, airlines, charter operators, transport providers, guides, naturalists and other travel suppliers.

While we carefully select our partners, these suppliers are independent businesses and may have their own terms, conditions, cancellation policies and operational procedures.

Wilderness Uncut is not responsible for circumstances arising directly from the acts, omissions, delays, failures or changes of independent third-party suppliers, except to the extent required by applicable law.

8. Wildlife & Wilderness Experiences

Wildlife travel is inherently unpredictable and takes place in natural environments.

Animal sightings, weather conditions, road conditions, water levels, migration patterns and other aspects of a safari cannot be guaranteed.

Guests are expected to follow the instructions of their guides, naturalists, camp staff and local authorities at all times, particularly in relation to wildlife encounters, vehicle safety and activities in wilderness areas.

9. Health, Fitness & Travel Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically able to participate in the activities included in their chosen itinerary.

Certain journeys may involve remote locations, long road transfers, walking, uneven terrain, altitude, heat, cold, insects or other environmental conditions.

Clients are responsible for obtaining appropriate medical advice where necessary and for informing Wilderness Uncut of any relevant requirements or limitations that may affect the safe operation of their journey.

Clients are also responsible for ensuring that they hold all required passports, visas, permits, vaccinations and other travel documentation applicable to their journey.

10. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended for all journeys booked through Wilderness Uncut.

Insurance should, where appropriate, cover medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation or interruption, baggage loss or delay, travel delays and other risks relevant to the itinerary.

Clients should review their policy carefully to ensure that it provides adequate coverage for the nature and destination of their journey.

11. Passports, Visas & Entry Requirements

Clients are responsible for ensuring that they meet all passport, visa, immigration, health and entry requirements applicable to their journey.

Requirements may differ according to nationality, destination and the nature of travel and may change from time to time.

Wilderness Uncut may provide general guidance but cannot guarantee that a client will be granted entry, a visa or any other required permission.

12. Cancellation & Amendments

Cancellation and amendment conditions vary depending on the itinerary, destination and suppliers involved.

The cancellation charges and applicable deadlines communicated in the booking confirmation or invoice will apply to the booking.

Some services, including certain lodges, camps, permits, safaris, charter flights and other arrangements, may have particularly restrictive or non-refundable cancellation conditions.

Clients are advised to review the applicable cancellation terms before confirming their booking.

13. Force Majeure

Wilderness Uncut shall not be liable for circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, epidemics or pandemics, war, civil unrest, terrorism, government restrictions, border closures, strikes, transport disruption, changes in law, conservation restrictions or other unforeseen events.

Where such circumstances affect a journey, Wilderness Uncut will endeavour to assist clients and suppliers in finding reasonable alternatives where possible.

Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the applicable courts, unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
