Duba Explorers Camp

Situated on a private island within a 33,000-hectare reserve in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, Duba Explorers Camp offers an intimate wilderness escape. Surrounded by Waterways and floodplains, seasonal grasslands, and acacia woodlands, this remote camp is accessible via a wooden footbridge.

Wildlife At Duba Explorers Camp

The area is home to large herds of elephant and buffalo, along with lion, leopard, zebra, wildebeest, and the elusive sitatunga, an antelope rarely seen outside the Delta. Over 400 bird species have been recorded here, while hippos wallow in the channels and spotted-necked otters play along the waterways during the flood season.
For those interested in seasonal catch-and-release fishing offers a chance to explore the Delta’s diverse fish species.

Guest Tents

Duba Explorers Camp features five spacious canvas tents, shaded by Jackalberry, leadwood, mangosteen, and sycamore-fig trees, sleeping up to 10 guests. Each tent offers a private balcony overlooking the surrounding water channels.
