Day 2
DELHI → BHOPAL → BORI

Into the Wilderness

After checking out, transfer to Delhi Airport for your flight to Bhopal.

From Bhopal, the journey continues by road, taking you away from the city and towards the forests of Central India. Arrive at Bori Safari Lodge, your base for the next four nights, and settle into the wilderness.

Later, head out for your first Evening Game Drive in Bori Wildlife Sanctuary — an opportunity to begin discovering a landscape that remains one of Central India's lesser-known wildernesses.

Overnight: Bori Safari Lodge
Safari: Evening Game Drive

Day 3 - Day 5
BORI WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

Beyond the Familiar

The next three days are dedicated to exploring Bori Wildlife Sanctuary, with Morning and Evening Game Drives.

One of India's oldest protected forests, Bori offers a distinctly wild experience, with dense woodland, open landscapes and a rich variety of habitats. The sanctuary is home to an impressive range of wildlife, from Bengal tigers and leopards to sloth bears, wild dogs, gaur and an abundance of birdlife.

With time on your side, the emphasis is on slowing down and experiencing the forest as a whole. Read the signs of the wilderness, observe the changing light and allow each drive to unfold according to what is happening around you.

Bori is not simply a place to look for wildlife. It is a chance to experience a quieter, less familiar side of Central India's wilderness.

Overnight: Bori Safari Lodge
Safari: Morning & Evening Game Drives

Day 6
BORI → SATPURA

From One Wilderness to Another

Leave Bori behind and continue by road towards Reni Pani Jungle Lodge, your base for the next four nights.

The landscape gradually changes as you approach Satpura, with the forests and hills of the Satpura range beginning to dominate the horizon.

Settle into Reni Pani and take in your surroundings before beginning the next chapter of your journey.

Overnight: Reni Pani Jungle Lodge, Satpura

Day 7 - Day 9
SATPURA NATIONAL PARK

Into the Heart of Satpura

Over the next three days, explore Satpura National Park through Morning and Evening Game Drives.

Satpura is a wilderness of dramatic landscapes — forested hills, deep valleys, sandstone formations and the Denwa River — creating an environment that feels distinctly different from many of India's better-known tiger reserves.

The richness lies in the variety. Alongside its larger mammals, Satpura is known for its birdlife, smaller predators and the quieter encounters that reward those willing to slow down and observe.

Each drive offers a new perspective on the landscape, with the guiding team helping you understand the intricate relationships between the forest, its wildlife and the river that runs through it.

Day 10
SATPURA → BHOPAL

From the Wild to an Ancient Landscape

Leave Reni Pani and travel towards Bhopal, with a visit to the extraordinary Bhimbetka Rock Shelters along the way.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Bhimbetka preserves some of the oldest evidence of human life and artistic expression in the Indian subcontinent. The rock shelters and their ancient paintings offer a remarkable connection to people who inhabited these landscapes thousands of years ago.

Continue to Jehan Numa Retreat in Bhopal and settle into the hotel.

The evening offers a chance to experience another facet of Central India through Lost Flavours — a culinary journey through the region's heritage.
