India, the world’s largest democracy and seventh-largest country, lies in South Asia, bordered by nations including Pakistan, China, and Nepal. With over 1.4 billion people, it’s the second-most populous country, rich in cultural diversity, with more than 1,600 languages and major religions like Hinduism, Islam, and Christianity. Governed as a federal republic, India has 28 states and 8 union territories, with New Delhi as its capital. Economically, India is rapidly growing, driven by sectors such as IT, services, agriculture, and manufacturing, and is a key software exporter. Its historical roots reach back to ancient civilizations like the Indus Valley, with contributions in mathematics and astronomy. Geographically diverse, India boasts the Himalayas, deserts, forests, and unique wildlife like Bengal tigers. Attractions like the Taj Mahal and Kerala’s backwaters draw millions, making India a blend of ancient tradition and modern influence on the global stage.

Generally the weather in India is cold from November to mid of March and warm and sunny from April to June. June marks the beginning of monsoon which last till mid of September. Thus, India experiences every weather conditions and it varies from region to region.
